Phase 02 — Letting Go
Sessions 3–5
The second phase works with what's actually in the way. Not the idea of resistance, but your specific version of it — the patterns that pull you out of the work, the voices that speak before you've made anything, the rhythm of creative energy you've been fighting instead of trusting.
This is not about eliminating the critic or silencing doubt. It's about learning to see them clearly enough that they stop running the show.
What happens in this phase
Session 3 — Resonance & Reflection
Hearing yourself in one another. Listening turns from critique to curiosity.
By this point you've begun to hear your own creative signal more clearly. Now you start to hear it reflected back — in the work of others in the group, in the conversations, in what resonates and what doesn't. Listening becomes a tool for understanding yourself, not just your music.
Session 4 — The Critic, Resistance & Thought
Voices to listen to, not obey.
The inner critic, resistance, the misunderstanding of thought — these are named and examined here. Not as enemies to defeat, but as phenomena to understand. When you see them for what they are, they lose their authority. The work continues anyway.
Session 5 — The Ebb and Flow
Trusting the natural rise and fall of creative energy.
Every creative life has periods of low energy, stalled momentum, apparent silence. This session reframes the ebb — not as failure or absence, but as a necessary part of the creative cycle. The ebb is where things integrate. Trusting it is a skill.
What you're building
The ability to keep working even when conditions are imperfect. To notice what's happening in your creative process without being controlled by it.
"The patterns that keep you in your head are specific to you. This phase works with what's actually in the way."
